I'm embarrassingly late to this post, but so happy to learn more about you!

My husband is turning 40 this year and we're headed to Iceland in the fall to celebrate. Your glowing review made me even more excited for the trip.

Also fun to learn that you're a fellow yoga teacher – I might have to pop in for one of your virtual classes sometime!

Hi Natalie! I read this en route to the UK and since I vowed to not do any "work" on my trip, I am late to respond. Thank you for your comments. :) I think you will not regret the choice to celebrate 40 in Iceland. I don't want to sound like a cliche but it is landscape you will not forget and so beautiful. I hope you both have a wonderful time. I am sure you have read how expensive everything is but I am reiterating it, save up your money for it, you will want to enjoy yourselves and not be shocked.

Would love to have you in class sometime! Do you also teach regularly?

Good job not working while you were away - hope you had a great trip!

Yes, we’ll be scrimping and saving as much as possible for Iceland 💸😬

I’m not teaching anywhere at the moment (and have actually enjoyed the break) but I’m thinking it may be in my 2025 plans to get back on a studio schedule somewhere because I miss it!

Thank you, Kaitlyn! I was not necessarily planning on focusing on me in all future issues. However, I do realize now that a personal touch was good for interaction and I am working toward adding a bit more of me to each issue. It's always nice to know where people come from and the why behind it.

Oh I love this! Your picture in front of Schloss Schonnbrunn is so beautiful. So good reading all about you and your adventures. I started Baby Reindeer yesterday but have only seen the first episode so far. Looking forward to finishing it so we can compare notes :)

Thank you for your kind words. Gabriella! My friend Lindsey gets all the credit for her photography skills. The Schloss is also a great backdrop. I am interested to hear what you think of Baby Reindeer once finished/if you finished.

I really loved reading this and getting to know you better. I so hope we can plan a good writing retreat and spend more time together in person!

If you don't love Murakami based on Norwegian Wood, you might try his book on running/writing: What I think about when I think about running. I loved it.

Thank you, Petya! It felt long overdue. I like to ask questions and learn about people and realized I had not said much about myself. I look forward to spending time in person too!

And so far, so good with Murakami though I'll admit I'm not that far into it. I have seen the running/writing book and am also intrigued. I don't know why I started with Norwegian Wood other than it is a great Beatles song. :P
